Jeremy Hogg

MS, LPC, NCC, CSAT Candidate

Jeremy understands you may have constant fear and anxiety about being found out; feeling alone and helpless to stop even though you’re acting against your values and keeping yourself from living the life you really want. Jeremy believes that his strength as a counselor is making deep connections with people while also approaching counseling from a scientific perspective that is easy to understand and practical, helping people with their underlying issues, including trauma, that can fuel out of control compulsive behavior.

Throughout his adult life, people came to him for advice and counsel, whether it was friends, co-workers, or his students. So he went to graduate school, earning his Master of Professional Counseling from Liberty University where he graduated with honors. In his last year, Jeremy took a year sabbatical from his job to work at a private practice, The Vale, and Dallas Life (the largest homeless shelter in North Texas), providing counseling to people that through various life circumstances found themselves homeless and broken. In both places, Jeremy found his passion in working with and helping those that struggle with addictions and past histories of trauma and the resulting depression anxiety and grief. These passions led him to get specific training to be a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training for trauma.

Jeremy loves life and lives with passion which has led him to many adventures. Some of these include radio hosting in the morning on 88.5 FM (earned his FCC radio broadcast license), skydiving, shark cage diving, spear fishing, being a PADI certified rescue diver, serving in the US military, playing the violin and guitar, and traveling to more than 45 countries around the world. He uses his wealth of life experience to connect with people from all walks of life. He has worked in retail management, served in the military (US Coast Guard), worked blue collar as a diesel mechanic, taught middle school, was a counselor in a high school, and now works full-time doing what he loves as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

If you are ready to begin your journey of healing, give Jeremy a call for a 20 minutes consultation. You will learn the next steps to reclaim your life and live with the passion you want and NOT what your compulsions drive you to.
